The Seventh Annual Falmouth Flag Day 5K Run OR Walk to benefit Falmouth Education Foundation will be held on Sunday, June 11 at 10 a.m. T-shirts are going fast, so if you want to enter you should do so soon to secure your shirt. The spectacular waterfront out-and-back route starts and finishes in front of the British Beer Company across from the Falmouth Heights Beach on Grand Avenue.

The race web site is There you will find a link to the online registration page.

Children as well as adults are invited to walk OR run the 5KÂ (3.1 miles). Medals will be awarded to everyone 17-and-under who completes the distance.

There will be a Red Sox ticket give-away at the awards ceremony and many great prizes donated by local businesses to age-group winners.

The race is managed by former Falmouth Road Race co-directors Kathy and Rich Sherman, plus Falmouth staffer Jo-Ann Leaf, so you can be confident it will be a well-run event.

We highly recommend this fast-growing and popular 5K to walkers and runners of all speed and ages.
